Manual locking 2 post lifts are a budget friendly alternative to the automatic 2 post lift. That however does not mean that you are buying into an inferior product it just means that the manual release 2 post lift has been designed with affordability in mind and no compromise in quality. With the ability to remove some of the features cosmetic features of the automatic release 2 post lift and equip them with a manual locking system instead of automatic we can keep the price to a minimum.
Do not be deceived by the name manual 2 post lift as this the car ramp is not manually operated, it still comes equipped with electro hydraulics and is sent up with the push of a button so don’t worry there is no pumping involved. All that’s involved in the manual operational side of these ramps is the lock release system. Rather than the more expensive 24V locking system they are equipped with manual pull cords and a release lever. So yes, the process may take around 20 seconds longer, but the result is still achieved in a safe fashion.
